    Aiming B.S.

No. To get into shooting position I'm not looking at my bridge hand any more than I'm looking at my feet. Lou Figueroa

    Aiming B.S.

I look at the OB, pocket, and CB, then get into shooting position. I don’t shoot with my eyes closed, lol, though that can be done on simple shots not requiring position play. IOWs, that’s a silly exercise that has nothing to do with actually shooting pool. Lou Figueroa

    Aiming B.S.

hmmm, not really. Sure your body has to be in alignment but more importantly all the small parts of your body have to be in the right configuration to execute an accurate stroke. Eyes have to give you a proper view of the shot, particularly the CB; your bridge must be in the right spot and...

    Aiming B.S.

People cannot run balls because they cannot position their body where it needs to be and make their stroking arm move accurately and consistently enough to hit the CB and OB where they wish. Lou Figueroa aiming is easy the rest, not so much

Shout-out to Shelby Custom Cues for my first "real" Kielwood shaft!

Shelby is a great guy to deal with. I bought a used cue of his off the For Sale forum here and asked if he would make me an additional 4oz shaft and joint protectors. He came through on both in a timely, professional manner. Recently, informing him I was playing in the International Open One...

    How Common Is This?

It will be an almagam of stories you’ve probably read before and forgotten (you’ve been around THAT long, Pat, lol) as well as some passing insights and tidbits of knowledge I’ve picked up along my way up the mountain. Lou Figueroa

CSI banned me from BCA state tournament due to a google review

On the one hand, I doubt this is the way Mark would have wanted CSI to handled this. We killed many a brain cell drinking beers after hours at a few Vegas events and time at dinners, phone calls and what not. The folks currently at CSI should pause and ask themselves if they are modeling what...

"Lock and load" the shoulder to control movement?

My personal opinion is that no one thing like this can work in isolation of all the other parts and movements that play essential roles in the construct of a pool stroke. Lou Figueroa

Did Brett Gordon break Eddies thumbs?

Good grief -- that does not imply "often." Might have been one last guy. I used to keep a new tooth brush in my second bathroom at my apartment in Spain -- *that* would imply "often" lol. Lou Figueroa

Did Brett Gordon break Eddies thumbs?

No idea how you could infer that. Lou Figueroa

Did Brett Gordon break Eddies thumbs?

She was waiting for the bar down the street to open at 6am -- that was the "bus" she was waiting for. Also, in the book, she turns Eddie down the first time they meet and don't go to her place until like maybe the third time they meet. She had insomnia and was an alcoholic drinking so she...
