Jack Klugman on The Twilight Zone

As many of you probably know, Jack Klugman passed away yesterday. Just so happens that my daughter gave her husband a DVD Set of The Twilight Zone tv series for Christmas yesterday. After seeing on tv last night that Mr. Klugman passed away, my Son In Law asked me if I wanted to watch an episode...

    Howard Ikeda died

Sorry to hear of his passing. I met him when he recovered my table about 13 years ago. Haven't had it re-done since. He did such a great job on it, I always thought I'd try to find him to do it again. I remember him as a kind, humble person. Rest in peace Howard.

    Inside of a pool ball

Just wondering.... what is the best tool to use to cut a billiard ball in half safely?

    Where is John....?...Barton.....?

Dear Jamison Neu, I don’t know who you are or what you do in the billiard industry, but even if I did I would still tell you the things I’m about to say. Obliviously you have an ax to grind with Scott Taylor and Sterling Gaming. May I suggest you “man up” and handle your grievances in private...

Would a cue ball with a design be a distraction to you?

Maybe I need to clarify my original post. The cue ball will have a design on it because of the way the game will be played. It’s hard to explain without giving out the details of the entire game. The cue ball will not be the only ball with graphics. It will coincide with a totally new set of...

Would a cue ball with a design be a distraction to you?

Getting some great feedback here. Starting to think my first idea was the best... just design the cueball like I planned and let the player adjust to it. Resetting the cueball was a recent idea, but like most things I tend to over analyze things. I agree that touching the cueball during play...

Would a cue ball with a design be a distraction to you?

Hi everyone. Need some opinions and advice here. I have invented a new billiard game that will require its own specially designed set of balls. Due to the way it is played and the overall theme of the game, the cue ball will not be the traditional white color. In fact, it will have matching...

    Break question

When breaking, using a standard rack of 15 balls, which ball or balls are most likely to be pocketed by an average player? I need this info so I can determine the best way to position balls in the rack for a new pool game I am developing. Your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks, LiL Stick

    Woods of the World Cues

I'm too bald to be splitting hairs with someone like you. Your sly inference to my mental capacity was unnecessary. More message boards have been ruined by comments like yours than by messages like mine. Have a good day. Sincerely, Perry Hauck Affordable Billiards
