GC IV also came equipped with screws in frame to level the slate. I agree its a GC III. I have a friend who have the same one and the guy said it was a 4 but after i delivered it and set it up i noticed it did not have the holes in the frame for the screws and it didnt have the original slate
I have never had track lines from using wax. If you take the time to prep the slate seams level and as tight together you should not have that issue using bees wax. If the table is in a unclimate area like a garage depending if you live in a hot weather area, the bees wax will sometimes rise up...
