dr dave's videos have proven that object ball throw is real
there's a place in Harlingen called The Rockin Cue
They have about 20 7ft diamonds and 4 or 5 9ft diamonds
good tables. a few were dirty, but everything I've played on plays great
great food, lots of great action too
there are people who intentionally play slow to disrupt the flow of the opponent
ignoring them typically works - go take a shit, go eat food, sit at a table and trim your nails
i only learned to jump last week, and I only have experience with the Jacoby jump cue
but that basic 150 dollar jacoby jumper made jumping very easy. I watched half of a youtube video and learned the "dart method" - sunk my first jump shot first try
Neat! I'll pick up some Dr V Titlist to compare.
I've got a bit of pokemon syndrome when it comes to chalks.
It's cheaper than collecting all the cues at least :\
if you're using hole reinforcement stickers, the coating on the paper rubs off onto the cueball and transfers to the table.
i learned this lesson the hard way by using colored stickers, which left yellow and blue X lines on a table at the pool hall :(
ayyyy happy to be here!!
I've been playing for 35 years but just started taking it seriously a month or three ago
I play on an old meucci original that my dad bought new in 83 or 84 and handed down to me.
I'm an aspiring content creator and plan to make videos about pool - but I haven't started...
