Anybody have experience shipping a table like this? I'm having trouble communicating to freight carriers exactly what we'll be dealing with. Should I definitely crate it all, crate only the most sensitive pieces and pallet the rest, or what? Seems like it will be impossible to get a reliable...

Shipping on this thing is turning out to be a bigger nightmare than I thought. I'm going to have to either drop the asking price, or do more of the shipping and transportation myself.

Is a ball return unusual for these tables? Or is it merely another option that the original owner went for?

Any idea on how to clean these up? The castings are in pretty good shape, only a couple very slight dents along one of the long rails, hard to see. They are mostly just dirty, but I imagine that will clean up, right? That's thick! Each of those pieces weighs about 400 pounds, I'd say.

I should also mention that while the rails are in good condition, you're going to want to put new cloth on this table at the very least.

Thanks. I haven't been able to find any other models with a third pedestal leg. Apparently the 12' tables they made came with a third leg, so all anybody can figure is that this was a special order.

Couple pictures from the move showing the carpet and slate. The sale company wasn't too pleased to learn about the carpet, as I'm sure the new buyers were not aware. It was a pretty clean job.
