    Brunswick Centennial Table For Sale

I have reluctantly decided to sell this table. It is an Oversize 8'. Asking $5,500 OBO. I'm in Lincoln, Nebraska. I'm a furniture refinisher/restorer by trade with a lot of experience with Rosewood and can redo the rails however buyer likes them, if wanted. I tore my rotator cuff at the end of...

Brunswick Centennial snooker table, 5'X10', great condition.

Table has sold, pending payment. Gonna miss it.

Anybody have experience shipping a table like this? I'm having trouble communicating to freight carriers exactly what we'll be dealing with. Should I definitely crate it all, crate only the most sensitive pieces and pallet the rest, or what? Seems like it will be impossible to get a reliable...

Brunswick Centennial snooker table, 5'X10', great condition.

Shipping on this thing is turning out to be a bigger nightmare than I thought. I'm going to have to either drop the asking price, or do more of the shipping and transportation myself.

Brunswick Centennial snooker table, 5'X10', great condition.

Is a ball return unusual for these tables? Or is it merely another option that the original owner went for?

I have listed this table on eBay with a Buy-It-Now price of $3,500: HERE

Any idea on how to clean these up? The castings are in pretty good shape, only a couple very slight dents along one of the long rails, hard to see. They are mostly just dirty, but I imagine that will clean up, right? That's thick! Each of those pieces weighs about 400 pounds, I'd say.

I should also mention that while the rails are in good condition, you're going to want to put new cloth on this table at the very least.

Thanks. I haven't been able to find any other models with a third pedestal leg. Apparently the 12' tables they made came with a third leg, so all anybody can figure is that this was a special order.

Brunswick Centennial snooker table, 5'X10', great condition.

After a lot of moving and deliberation, I've decided I should try and sell my newly acquired Centennial snooker table. It is in great condition, with only a couple small dings in the apron and slight nicks in the woodwork. A small piece of the veneer on one of the legs is chipped off, and one of...

Couple pictures from the move showing the carpet and slate. The sale company wasn't too pleased to learn about the carpet, as I'm sure the new buyers were not aware. It was a pretty clean job.

Called Ken and he was very helpful, thanks for the tip. Said he figured the table could have come from Canada, where snooker was more popular, or simply was a special order for thicker slate and a third leg, which is probably what I'm assuming. I need to upload pictures from the move, but...

Table was moved successfully. Couldn't believe the movers I hired... they hauled all three slabs up some tight, precarious stairs and out the house in twenty minutes. Granted, they almost died and I don't think they could have handled another slab. Everything came apart pretty well and...

I really wish I had the funds to completely restore it... I've sorta fallen in love as I've worked on it today. I'll be putting it in storage until I decide what's best. I've reached out to several restorers and am trying to field information from anywhere I can. Realistically, I'll probably end...

Posted this in the main forum, but thought I'd copy it here, too. Just got back from the sale. I managed to strip it down to the slate, which confirmed my suspicion that it is, in fact, 1.5 inch think. The slabs are incredibly heavy, and I didn't hesitate to stop and call a professional. I'll be...
