    Rasson 4 inch pockets

I absolutely LOVE it! So much more action in the Mosconi. To play devils advocate... if they don't stop at 4", cheating the pockets will become impossible.

    BCA League Format

Lol. No I despise APA handicapping. I just want to play more than one game. 5 man round robin still sucks. 3 man BCA Masters format sounds amazing.

    BCA League Format

I like this much better. And it is nice not playing until 11:30pm on a Monday night.

Maybe this is the break that pool needs. Cornhole cheating...

LOL! The TV coverage of this stupid game blows my mind. I'd prefer televised Monopoly. To watch the Mosconi cup I have to give $20 to the Europeans.

    shaft diameter

    I ran 100 with a broomstick yesterday... but I PREFER a 12mm. lol

    shaft diameter

12mm with a LONG pro taper is the only way for me.

    BCA League Format

That's a really good point about making friends. It's only 8 now, and I'm getting to know everyone. I'm not quitting, so maybe it will grow on me!

    BCA League Format

LOL! You sound like a bucket of fun yourself. Of course I'm having fun playing pool with my friends... it's just a stupid format IMO. Winning is always fun.

    BCA League Format

Learning your opponent and adjusting your game like you would throughout a race IS my whole strategy. It's nothing like playing 5 games with the same guy IMO. We also don't play continuously.. you end up waiting at least 15 minutes between each game. I'm still having fun...so whatever.

    BCA League Format

What's up boys?! Had to raise some kids, but I'm back in action. I joined a BCA 8 ball league. Great team with old friends that have been dominating while I've been away. My first day was a league meeting to help balance and grow the league because my team was winning every session and teams...

    Schmelke Cues 2021

lol.. well I've personally never seen a warped Becue, so I find that hard to believe. However, you should be careful who you deal with. Especially from Texas.

    Schmelke Cues 2021

They have ruined me on custom cues. I just noticed they are selling a carbon fiber shaft for $340. To be honest, Schmelke is the reason I gave up carbon fiber. If you're into a 3/8 pin and a wood to wood hit... there is no better cue. Not to mention they are almost free. If I ever go pro...

Does grip size matter to you?

I thought Meucci cues were relatively thin, and have a thinner collar size. I bought the Skylar Woodward bar box cue and it was PHAT. I had to get rid of it because I wasn't use to that kind of girth in my hand.... if you know what I mean

    Schmelke Cues 2021

Sorry guys but I have to do it. Schmelke deserves a shout out for being the best playing cue in my arsenal, and by far the cheapest. I keep one in my truck 24/7 in Texas weather and it's dead straight. The $80 hard maple shafts play lights out and everyone asks me about my $190 rosewood sneaky...

    Strong opinion: Dress Codes Needed

Corona has made it more acceptable to be super casual just about anywhere. When you spend that kind of time in a pool hall practicing, you probably feel slightly uncomfortable in even a polo. I don't think dress code is a major factor in keeping pool down at the moment.
