I'm looking for the outside dimensions of a 9' Brunswick Anniversary table. Mine is not yet assembled and I need the dimensions to order a fitted cover.
Thanks.
I recently purchased an Anniversary and refinished the rails. I would not recommend using a belt sander as it is difficult to control the amount of material you are removing in any given spot. The walnut on the rails is maybe 3/16 of an inch thick, I don't have one available to measure right...
Well I pulled a cushion off of one of the rails tonight and sure enough it measures just a hair under 1 1/4 inches on the backside. I'll check to see if the subrail angle is right and if so call it good.
Thanks everybody for the help. I'll keep you posted on the project.
Rick, Does poolfelt.com sell Brunswick Super Speeds? Is there a real difference between the Brunswick branded product and Championship Tour Edition k55? With so many opinions out there it makes it diffiult to make decisions.
RKC, I'm traveling to Seattle tomorrow. I could bring a rail out if...
Oh no.... It's not good when RKC is lost. I guess these things come up when you're dealing with a table that's 60 years old.
I'll remove the rubber from the subrail and post a picture so you guys can check that out.
And just to double check, either Brunswick SuperSpeed or Artemus...
Rick,
The measurement you're looking for is 1 3/16. That measurement is consistent on both sides of the rail, I removed the cushion facing on the other side and measured there also. Short of removing the rubber that's the most accurate measurement that I can get.
I really don't know that there is a problem. I've never played on the table. I bought it from a guy in Colorado and hired out a local guy there to dismantle it and crate it up for shipping.
Now I'm trying to figure out if the rubber is correct (k55). The guy I bought it from said that he...
Yeah, It's just under 1 1/14 inches on the backside of the cushion. My problem was that I didn't remove a cushion facing and measure that first. I was hesitant to do that because I don't want to replace what I don't need to.
The measurement from the top subrail/cushion seam to the tip of the...
Guys,
I should have removed a cushion facing earlier. From the measurement on the backside of the cushion it looks like this is k55. I took a straight edge and ran it parallel to the bottom edge of the cushion then measured from that edge to the top of the cushion, it measured 1 1/4 inches. I...
Glen,
I'll pull off one of the cushion facings and check to see if the rubber is flush with the bottom of the subrail.
As to skill set, I do have a good table saw, miter saw and other tools. My woodworking skill set is reasonable and I also have friends with good woodworking abilities. I...
