    Oliver Briggs Table

That would be the Boylston Building downtown near the Chinatown T stop. I know exactly where that is. They occupied parts of the second, fourth and fifth floors. By the way this is the table I ended up buying.

Use 100W-equivalent LED bulbs, which means 1,500 lumens, and generate only 16 watts. Also you are probably breaking with your shoulder (pectorals and some bicep muscles) and not your hand (supinator and abductors) which give you that acceleration and snap. For the supinator think of the force...

How does the shot clock work? Is this image processor activated or does there need to be a human operator?

I like the instant replay idea. Can you take it a step further and project where the balls were on the last shot, so that you can take a "Mulligan" during practice?

Pro Pocket Size TOO Small for 9 Ball

This is a good application, I like it. To all: In general people complain about equipment way more in pool than in other cue sports. Maybe we just learn to adapt rather than think we are so special? Like blaming European minds for example?

Pro Pocket Size TOO Small for 9 Ball

Americans have been using the “fast and loose with personality” excuse for far too long, trying to cover up their impatience for learning proper fundamentals to begin with because it is hard work that requires discipline. They don’t want to be bad at something for a long time while they are...

How High Or Low Do You Cue For Maximum Spin And Had Dr. Dave Ever Studied This?

I kind of like this. I think if pool players would spend a few days forgetting about pocketing balls and just play around with hitting parts of the cue ball in new ways that feel strange to them they will peel some layers off of the onion forever.

Higher skill pocket billiards players - 9 ball or snooker players?

Reminds me of this excellent article: Namely, "This is too basic," he says. Then proceeds to accidentally put spin on half his shots. Because his fundamentals weren't actually letting him hit where he was aiming. The absolute number one problem with American players is their inflated egos...

How High Or Low Do You Cue For Maximum Spin And Had Dr. Dave Ever Studied This?

Follow is just a rolling ball. You can not overspin a cue ball in place by cueing higher than 40 percent radius. It is impossible due to static friction.

    2 rail banking?

Good choice. The reason this is a good choice is because all balls will eventually roll with straight top, natural roll. Naturally rolling balls will rebound off of a rail with a smaller angle (come out longer) than incident, so if you can master and memorize this change for all incident angles...
