I have 860 because that matches what I play on at leagues. If you go a lot faster at home then you will be off when you play somewhere else. I would stick with standard 860 unless you play on tables regularly that don't use it.
I'm a woodworker and I'm looking to make a cool wall rack to hold 8-10 cues, the balls, rack etc. I've seen a few versions but I was hoping you guys had some cool ones. Let me see them
Depends on the bar. If its a pool hall type bar with leagues, its almost all simonis in my area. If its just mom and pop bar with a table or two then they are almost all the old nappy stuff.
Not to hijack, but does refinishing an older custom cue hurt its collectability or value? I have a first run from a custom maker and want to refinish it if it doesn't hurt its collectability.

I do play leagues on 7 ft valley tables, but I prefer a nice 8 ft table for home. Only thing I worried about on a used table was taking on someone elses problems like warping and stuff.
