    Pool Table Distance Between Tables

5' is the minimum. I'm 6'2" & hate toughing the neighbors on shots at 4'

Do you retip your cue or have it done by someone?

If you have to ask, have someone else do it

    Pool Room Map

Definitely out of date with only a quick search on Lakeland, FL. - No listing for Wally's Pool Hall ("The Wally'est Place on Earth); been there 25+ years; - No listing for Brewland's in Lakeland or Tampa (open 2-5 years ago); - Sharky's in Lakeland has been closed 10+ years (EDIT) The picture...

    Cue ID Question, in reverse...

Anyone know who made those cheap, POS cues that Sports Authority sold back in the 90s? Looking to get one as a wall hanger, was my 1st cue & just want one for giggles. Cost about $20 & had a fiberglass shaft (I was young & dumb, don't judge me!) :D

Songs that get played over and over at your pool hall

I think you may have found my twin! Same idea, but Echoes, the complete front side of Rush 2112 (which you can find as 1 song), and InnaGadaDavida... If it isn't league night & they play rap/techno again I'll put ~$10 of some good German speed/death metal or industrial on!!

The great debate; what do YOU prefer for a break-cue, ultra lite or ultra heavy?

25oz Rage Sneaky Pete, can't get anything to drop on break with a lighter stick & am just used to a sledgehammer for breaking now.

Is it normal for ur cue to graze ur nipple when shooting

no, but my goatee has an impressive part in it from cueing under my chin.

C & D here, depends on the put ups that night. Have fun with another 3, learn from the 7s.

    Break tips...

No Milk Duds (for now, unless you are in Tampa, FL). Something to fit to a standard 25oz. Rage (I call it Warhammer). That said, best "mainstream" tips for a very heavy breaker? Yes, I know a bit newb; see my sig. But 1-3 balls on the break in APA-8 so far, but the Rage standard tip is...

What made you decide to get a new cue.

My bag with 2 cheap Rage sticks was stolen, so I kinda had to. One of our TAP 7s let me borrow one his Predator Sport2s for a couple nights, so that is how I ended with my Predator Ice w/314-2. Bought the Sport2 off of him a few months later for variety of an OB shaft.

How do you view the term 'Banger'?

My team is mostly social, but before & after matches there are those of us who drill. Not much for $, more for shots of whiskey, etc. Guess it is just my mindset that I am interested more in the game (like chess) than how much cash is down to make me better.

From time to time people ask me for advice on their game..

I am kinda that guy, in questions but I listen too. It takes a bit, but I'm willing to pay $20+/hour to learn (& a shot every 4 racks). I *am willing* to know & will learn, no matter how much $ or shots as long as I trust you as a teacher, That said, I just shot down my teacherr 5-2, 5-2, 5-1...

How do you view the term 'Banger'?

Casual player with no intent other than to have fun. The idiot who puts drinks on the rail (or worse). Your average bar player. Non-league (not that everyone is interested, but AFAIK interest in getting better either involves league or $$$ games).
