    Muecci rewrap & finish

    I have a customer that wants me to re-wrap and finish his cue but I have never done a finish over a wrap before. Any tips or things I should know before I attempt it? I am prepared to practice it on scrap first just not sure how to keep from looking wet it will be a black and white speck wrap...

    What would be the ratio of phenolic to ivory? from just looking i would guess 2/3 phenolic to 1/3 ivory. Thanks again for you input Old-newbe

    Maybe better stated by saying the shaft ivory collar crack out and the butt side joint cracked also he admitted to dropping it to crack the butt cap and he left it in the car in 100 plus temperatures. I guess what i am asking is more like what do you guys do on the butt side like a caped ferrule...

    schon butt cap?

    Here is a picture of the butt cap. i don't think it is Delrin. Delrin seams more waxy "for lack of a better way of describing it" and not as brittle as this stuff and seams to be a little different white color than Delrin. i wish i could get a better picture of it but i don't have the cue...

    Ivory handle cues, lets see what you got!!

    I hope that dragon cue is not ivory if so what a waste! Not saying the cue is not awesome looking, but you could paint over a lot less expensive material why hide the ivory? old-newbe
