    Gold Crown pocket noise

Sounds like a good idea. On my GCII the ball occassionally gets caught in an endless vortex and you can hear it swirling in the pocket, then it gets quiet, then suddenly you hear it's still spinning much later. I think it goes for a full minute sometimes! I think I've gotten used to the...

    What's the best gold crown?

GCI or II? I've been lurking here at AZ for years and only recently joined and started posting. My vote is GCII. Pretty much the same as GCI with leg levelers. When I was finally ready for a table I knew I wanted an original Gold Crown for several reasons. 1. Can't afford new. 2. Prefer...

    9 ball the Movie

So it's been a week since the "premier" and I gather no one has seen the movie? Or they did and found it so forgettable that they have no comment. And after a week there's no sign of a way to buy it? Good luck to the makers of this movie! I did gather that either the story takes place in the...

Does anyone offer two piece 52" cues at 19 oz.?

I guess what I'm saying is that I've used 19 oz. cues my whole life, and that's what "feels best" to me. Doesn't seem like wanting to know a cues weight before purchase is much to ask for, especially from a big billiards equipment dealer. I think that I could probably shoot with a 52" cue and...

Stinger break/jump needs non phenolic tip?

Last year I bought my wife a stinger break/jump with phenolic tip. As I understand it the phenolic tip is now banned in bca leagues/tournaments? What's the best solution to keep using this cue? New shaft (i-1)? I see they offer a big boy leather tip conversion for the stinger shaft. Would it...

Does anyone offer two piece 52" cues at 19 oz.?

thanks maniac. the action cue from ozone would be great. one common problem I see...how can these companies consider themselves billiard equipment dealers and make no mention of cue weight? is that not an important consideration in pool?!

Does anyone offer two piece 52" cues at 19 oz.?

Thanks 3andstop, interesting set of cues, that could work. The 52" looks like it would do the trick and has the right weight. I hate to have to buy the other 3 cues in the package but it does look like you could fine tune by mix and matching the butts and shafts though.

Does anyone offer two piece 52" cues at 19 oz.?

Thanks ray. I'm just concerned that a jump cue is typically too short (40-42"?) and too light.:(

Does anyone offer two piece 52" cues at 19 oz.?

Does anyone offer two piece 52" cues at 19 oz.? Does anyone make an inexpensive two piece 52" cue that weighs 19 oz.? I'd like to find a basic sneaky pete and it doesn't need to be anything special. I play on a few leagues and have found some bars with the dreaded wall too close situation and...
