Tony Scianiella (Black Boar) does double scoring rings like this on just about all of his pigskin leather wraps, not on lizard (God no!!). It adds a lot to the wrap and is very simple to do on a good lathe. There is some debate in the industry as to who things they did them first...Evan at...

Tony does not just do fancy cues. He's doing alot of simple, mostly ebony 8 point in birdseye that have one upgraded aspect...like a fancy butt cap, or fancy rings or joint. My everyday playing cue is a plain-Jane boar...very simple...8 alternating high-low ebony points, leather pigskin wrap...

I've already said that he is the most underrated cue maker out there for playability and for workmanship. Black Boar and McDaniel are my top two. If you want an OVER-RATED cuemaker look no further than Gutierrez...

An AS-10 with red gems in the oval ivory on the butt and four (yes, 4!!) shafts just went on ebay for $2850...what a steal! I do not like proxy bidding and I forgot to get back on and check. Bummer.

You guys obviously have not seen enough Black Boar cues and certainly have not played with one... I would like to get a very high-end Bill McDaniel also...his cues have to be the move underrated cues in the industry as far as playability.
