Si's Searing . . . Orange Crush, Tangerine Dream . . . . whatever it's called. I NEED it!!

Barbara's Barry will do nicely, also. :D

Yeah, and I'll take one of those Herceks thank you very much.

Hey! No one said we had to give up an existing cue. Don't go changing the rules mid-rack, buddy. :p

You beat me to it. That is exactly the one I was going to say. I absolutely LOVE the boxed veneers at the base of the points.
That cue is the absolute nuts. I bet it plays pretty sporty, too! :)

At least give me an A for effort. Can't fault a guy for trying :)

You guys obviously have not seen enough Black Boar cues and certainly have not played with one...

I would like to get a very high-end Bill McDaniel also...his cues have to be the move underrated cues in the industry as far as playability.

I have to have one of those!!!

Think I'd rather just have your avatar. :)

But...back to this thread, a perfect Christmas cue for me would be the ivory pronged Craig Petersen cue with pink ivory veneers into ebony that is pictured in the Billiard Encyclopedia and new BB III. I know where it is....maybe he'll will it to me one day.

Sean

Mine wouldn't be one cue, but two...because currently, besides the one already being built, I am lusting after only two cues...it would have to be a package deal of course. ;) One is Joe's Heart Skip and the other one is the rosewood B Szamboti also @ classiccues.

boy! talk about a tough question! i think i would have to go with a maker no longer among the living.
i like sean's choice but i think i would have to go with a six prong gus!
i know where one of those is too!
of course the chances of mark willing it to me would be about the same as the chances of rick willing sean the peterson. :)
and since the last time i asked him for a price he said 250k i dont think i'll be buying it anytime soon :(

If you had unlimited funds...I know I am dreaming...but if you did, what 1 cue would you really want for christmas???

Mine, simple...a plain Balabushka, no inlays. Two shafts with old micarta ferrules.

Anybody else?

Shorty

I'll take the ivory ferrules that Shorty wants to replace with GE? or 3M? Micarta and put them on two other shafts <total of 4 shafts> for my dream cue...the Barry I so patiently wait on!!

p.s...The yellower the Micarta is/was, the louder the "plunk" was when you drew your rock!!

I saw a pdf at the 99 us open .that was nuts when i find the pic i'll post .It was told to me tha tthe cue goes for 3500 .I think..Or was it 5000..

I'm with Cubswin - I'd definitely take the Harvey Martin cue stolen out of my car in 1970; best-playing cue I ever played with. If not, there is a Ginacue in the Blue Book that is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen (next to Jessica Alba, anyway) - might have been the King James one-of-a-kind made for Rempe, can't remember. Anyone got a line on cheapest deal on Blue Book for cues?

Personally I would love to have my old Schon LTD back that i got rid of in 2004. It was a 99 model, that i got in Feb of 2000. And basically till i started to live at the pool hall, i didnt really have a clue as to what i had.

Now on a more positive note. Hopefully I will get enough Christmas money to be able to buy a NEW Schon. i am either going plain with a STL 1 or a nice SouthWest Style STL 6.

And once again be starting new with one cue lol.
