I have an old Dufferin with the same joint and I can confirm that they do fit. A friend had an OB shaft taped for a Pechauer speed joint, or whatever it is called, and it fit my cue perfectly. Played great too.

I have a McDermott lucky plain maple butt, though I’m sure with shipping it’s not worth the hassle.

I can’t help you, but I picked up a model 5 a few years ago and they are my favorite Adam made cues. Something about that big pin and the wood they use or the way they dry it.

Micarta. I just realized my phone auto corrected it.

For those of you that have a Runde cue with a micarta joint, can you measure it for me? I’m assuming it is .845 or .85.

Shaft is not from the blank, 1.5” ivory ferrule.

I think a lot of hit has to do with availability. The first real pool hall I went to as a teenager had quite a selection of Viking, Joss, McDermott and some customers cues. My first cue in 1991 was a Viking PJ that was $140 give or take. Cousins Custom Cues were the nicer ones I recall from...

Points look too wide to be Runde, IMHO.

Brown stitch should place it as an S series which predates the R series.

I just picked this up at a pawnshop in Northern Idaho. The signature kinda looks like is says Gracio. It definitely starts with a cursive G. Large brass 3/8x 11 pin with a dimple. The buttcap and joint ring almost looks like it was made with carbon fiber. The shaft collar is not the same...

I have the same model F. Very solid hitting cue. That’s super cool to see a guy with e same cue for 50 plus years.

I think those were made by Adam if I recall correctly.
