Rhino 3D Models Here are a couple of 3-d models I have drawn with Rhino. I need to get a better image of the woods so they wrap better and don't blur. Either that or draw my cues parts smaller. But it can do a decent job so you can get an idea of what you are thinking about.

Blud uses the NSK spindles for his machines, maybe he could offer them separately as a replacement for your current machine. How about it Blud? I may be interested as well. Chuck

Had this many years ago and I still hear about it because it was for an important match. Jumped the cue into the 2 so it would jump over the 15 and it slammed into the hole on the fly. The cue jumped around and landed with perfect shape on the 7 and I got out. This was last pocket...

Possible alternative For wood working projects (other than cues) I have printed a label (plain paper) on the laser jet (backwards) as in mirror view and then transferred the image to the wood by using the heat from an iron. The smoother the wood the more detail will transfer. I do not know...

Thanks Blud, I think I will proceed with the collet system in mind. Any thoughts on a lever versus handwheel feed for either the tailstock or carriage?

That would be one style for sure Shakes. I seen those pictures but somehow missed the collet chuck and the assortment of collets. Thanks for bringing that back to my attention. I guess at least one cue maker has used them. Chuck

This is why I am asking if anyone uses chucks like this one (3J Collet Chuck) in their cue operations. It would certainly hold your cue accurately by arbor or joint but not sure how well it would work when grabbing wood or thin plastic collets wrapped around wood for joint work and such. I have...
