I agree that cue makers like to jack prices up with ivory. juma etc and even some of the plastic meucci uses gives the same overall effect. with that said, the cue makers will find another material that is over-priced quickly enough. soon a lot of the woods they use are going to be the same way

this was not as popular as the natural bem version. like all black meucci cues, the black composite reacts with the finish and turns gray!

A lot of people do "weird" things when shooting. IMO if it works for you, and you keep one foot on the floor, keep shootin til ya miss!

it's a time honored pool room tradition in pool rooms. I think it came about because of the characters you can see in them. the decline in the number of old time rooms is why people don't understand it. if you ever saw Willie the Weasel you would understand
