ah great appreciate it. so lets say i back it off to 50 mm on just the stretch side. i would be looking to pull 50mm from head rail as well as 50 mm on foot rail?
Hi guys. I am a table installer. I have covered around 200 tables now . I am noticing lately after install i have stretch lines from baulk to foot.i use the method from real king cobra using a stretch index pulling from side to side. How ever this is mostly napped cloth i am installing(Strachan...
Hi RKCI have been using your method of starting points with index etc for napless cloths . I have been now using this method for napped cloths{Strachan 6811} The traditional method of recovering snooker tables etc is to pin the baulk end with a few staples then the foot end with a few in the...
Hi guys. im a table installer from OZ. Any you guys like any of the battery staplers out there? I have tried 2 now but there too slow and too bulky for doing rails and cant get accurate with staples. Im just seeing if there is something better rather than trailing a big compressor around. thanks...
yes i believe it is correct. I think ive just been buying the cheap brand with no name from my supplier. It's looking like i would have to purchase from the US to get the better quality. Im not sure if i can get the top brands from china?
Hi guys, i just done an install in a local pool hall with K55 rubbers bought from my local supplier here in Australia. It seems they differ in quality. They dont seem very responsive. They have no badge or sticker on them. i bought them for $145 AUS . Would it seem i have bought poor quality rubber?

the idea was to pull side to side along pole but havent figured out an easy mthod to hold in place yet. im sure there is something simple. any ideas what i could use instead of carper edging?feather strip perhaps
yes this has crossed my mind. But also if u do manage to stretch whole lot and get the pole pushed under the slate, it would be very easy to hold as the slate taking most of the load while u simply clamp in place.
No i haven't actually gotten further than what i show in pic.The trouble im having is the stretch from end of pole to other end and keeping weaves straight. I need something like a feather strip type clamp rather than the teeth on the carpet edge i think. Not sure bye the time i set it all up...
I came up with this idea to easily stretch cloth. In pic i have a piece of square fence tubing and carpet edging with nails sticking out. This way you can pull a whole side together right on your index and easily clamp before stapling. Has this ever been thought of before? Or am i on to...
I have a 7ft non worsted Strachan 6811 to do tomorrow. There is no reason why i cant use your method of stretch order is there?I have always started with 3 staples in centre of foot end then 3 staples in centre of head end then sides then corners. All, installers i have seen use this method. I'm...
