They came in colors...Blue, Gold, Tangerine (a reddish-orange), and Classic White...my favorite Centennial Blue.
I had one I painted with black enamel. Looked pretty good. The ends of the pedestals can be stripped, sanded and stained.

If not...you better work on not selling out when you miss, playing strong safeties and managing racks until you have a that you can get all the way out.
