    CTE aiming chat

I'll be a bit more specific. How do I compensate for a steep cut with my pivot? With CTE you don't technically aim for the pocket. That is accomplished through the pivot. Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk

    CTE aiming chat

Can someone help me make steeper cut shots with CTE? Sometimes I under cut the shot because, although I shoot the ball at the center of the pocket, it's blocked by the point on steeper cuts. Any advice on how to compensate for this? Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk

    CTE for Top USA pros

I've been using the CTE for years. The only shots I struggle with are steeper cuts where the center of the pocket is obscured by point. Result is I "undercut" the shot. Any advice on how I can compensate for this? Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk

Cowboy Jimmy Moore - Obviously Using Center to Edge

Superstar, I agree with your statement. Video hasnt always been the deciding factor. But I think thats because a lot of the players who use it do not use a table pivot. The pivot is done in the air. This is an intentional technique used by advanced players to hide their pivot. Has anyone...

Cowboy Jimmy Moore - Obviously Using Center to Edge

Spider, thank you for the posting the videos. This is what I wanted players to see and learn from when I originally started this string. You cant argue that a top level pro was using a pivoting system (CTE). I am excited to see what other videos Spider posts from this match. We can learn a...

Cowboy Jimmy Moore - Obviously Using Center to Edge

Geez you guys are hostile! I just posted an innocent message about a pool match I saw on ESPN thinking it might help someones game, and you guys think I work for the Russians or something. Why do you get so emotional about an aiming system?? Sorry I'm married with two kids with a real job and...

"A plant?" No bud. I just vouch for the system because it changed my game. I could only be called a plant if I were selling something. I will tell you what I know for FREE!

Cowboy Jimmy Moore - Obviously Using Center to Edge

When I was a kid I couldnt get any of the strong players to tell me what they did. The day I met Hal was the day my pool career really began..even though I've playing for about 17 years prior to that day. My little brother introduced me to him. My game is at a completely different level now...

Cowboy Jimmy Moore - Obviously Using Center to Edge

You wouldnt know him. He is very old (almost 90 I think). When he was younger he traveled with Ralph Greenleaf. He told me some amazing stories of the people he played over the years. Most interesting is when he taugh Efren CTE. I had Allen Hopkins run 150 and out on me feeling balls in but...

Cowboy Jimmy Moore - Obviously Using Center to Edge

I didnt notice Jimmy using a slip stroke...I was too busy watching him pivot. I believe some of the great players including Mosconi used a slip stroke. I just cant seem to consistanty control the cue with it. Whats great about watching old pool matches is that the game has changed little in...

Cowboy Jimmy Moore - Obviously Using Center to Edge

I watched a great match between Cowboy Jimmy Moore and Wimpy Luther Lassiter that was on Classic ESPN the other day. It was very obvious to me how Jimmy was making balls. He cues on the edge of the cue ball and then on the last stroke moves to the center of the ball. For those of you who dont...

    CTE experiment, with civil discussion

I play my best when I pivot from the left in the air on every shot. That way you are coming straight down the target line when stroking a shot.
