For those of you interested in manga(japanese comics) there's a old series about pool called Breakshot, which can be found here http://www.stoptazmo.com/break_shot/. Funny stuff, even if half the stuff in it is ridiculous, its a fun read for when your have nothing better to do. Enjoy.

Hey all, I'm fairly new to pool, and have just begun to take it seriously and I was wondering if any of the New Yorkers on the forum knew of poolhalls in the uptown portion of Manhatten. I frequent Broadway Billiards, SoHo Billiards and Amsterdam Billiards, but I cant seem to find any poolhalls...

I would recommend the Dufferin house cue anyway, I like how they hit, whenever I get the money I plan to get one converted to a two piece. If I remember correctly there was a very, very, very well done conversion posted on this board before. But thats just me, I've always been a fan of sneaky...
