    Calling all pro speed players

Dude. It's not a gender bias if you're not going around saying men is better than women just because they have a pair of nuts. Or in pool terms, men in mid-600s is better than a women at 790 because he's got a pair of nuts.

    Calling all pro speed players

Perhaps BM is trying to distort reality. Some of his claims of grit and stamina is based on nothing more than imagination and biases. A legit 650 isn't a lock to win an unhadicapped weekend tournament. SMC is winning tournaments like Amway, China Open, and World Championshps. Some perspective.

    Chinese 8ball leagues in USA

To be correct, they started playing 8 ball on snooker tables, because that's what was available, then decreased the table size to make it more economical and easier. They didn't create C8B tables because they thought pool pockets were too easy.

Never heard "Stopping power", but I think it means the feedback & consistency from a center stunt shot.

    Is Southwest the best?

I placed my order in 2005. Should be any day now.

    Southwest-like cues

I've played with Coker and SW as main players. They are very different cues. Coker butts are much thinner. They use weight bolts. The shaft taper is a bit "thicker" feeling. They hit stiffer. They deflect more. Mine is original from 2000 except for tips. They are great players for their...

    Your Cue Stick History?

Began playing around 2000. Went through a lot of cues in the beginning. Didn't have much money to spend on cues so mostly no-names. May have missed a couple. 1: no name fiber-glass cue (gave away) 2: no name two piece house cue (gave away) 3: Lucasi with 314 (sold) 4: Lucasi seconds off ebay...

    Cuemaker wont ship my cue

I will never buy a Searing in the future. Not that it matters much in the grand scheme of things. He doesn't care because there are too many people with their hands joined around his nuts. He will continue to show up in cue shows like a rock star with groupies hoping for him to care about...

    used SW....how much

SWs aren't all exactly alike so you need to give more info. The value would depend on the following factors: Wood combo Fancy / inlaid / special designs / basic 6 points / merry widow / satin Overall condition rings & veneers Pre-date / cactus pin / year made Shaft size & condition Original or...

Do some shafts produce more spin draw and follow

Didn't bother to go through the 6 pages. There is no need to argue physics. If you've played enough pool with enough cues & tips & shafts, you should know the answer without asking. It's pretty self-explanatory.

Snooker Cue Prices vs Pool cues

Most snooker cues, even the more expensive types, would be consider plain by pool cue standards. There doesn't seem to be much ring work or inlays. The wood types used are typically quite limited. Judging from the simplicity of the cues, the construction process or techniques may very well be...

Types Of Ferrules On Snooker Cues?

I think snooker players tend to avoid putting side spin on majority of shots. They move the balls around using natural angles with the tip on the vertical axis of the cue ball. They don't use the rails for positions as often, which further decreases the need for side english. But, smaller...

Send Mike Wong to Derby City

Mike. Why do you leave the chalk at the same end of the rail when you play? Why not take it with you and chalk as you walk using your left hand, like Efren. It might speed things up at least a minute a rack not having to walk back and forth. That's 11 minutes in a race to 11, a significant...
