I wouldn't use talc, it's abrasive, if I run into a humidity problem I think I will pull out the glove, I don't think it will be hard to go back and forth.

I have been using a glove even when I was playing with a wooden shaft, I'm starting year 5 in my comeback and naturally continued glove use until the other night, I stopped to take a "nature" break and only had 3 or 4 balls on the table so I didn't put my glove back on, I really liked the feel...

I have a wrapless and a leather wrap, l am using the wrapless now...

I would love to play on 9ft tables, unfortunately the closest place is 30 miles away and I would not be able to play everyday, most leagues are on bar tables, so the decision is play pool on a bar table or don't play......

My favorite thing about Becue CF shafts is there consistency, they also build shafts for different types of hit and feel, my favorite is the Prime II 12.0, flex and feedback of a wooden shaft and energy transfer of a CF shaft, I don't know what else you could want except a "miss proof" shaft...

I went to hard tips and the Becue Prime II 12.0 shaft, it has a super long taper, don't know the number but it looks longer than any shaft I have ever seen, so you get "feedback" like a wooden shaft and the energy transfer of a CF shaft, the Bulletproof Recoil hard tip(green) is a super hard...

I've been shooting with the green tip for almost a year, the only reason I reshaped mine was because I had been dressing it by "eye" and turned a nickel radius into a dime, once I reshaped it correctly to a nickel radius it has not changed, best tip I have ever owned and have no desire to look...

I went that route for awhile, I tried the Tip pik type tool, it looks like a bunch of little pins,and it's like night and day, lasts way longer and takes nothing off the tip, I didn't believe it till I tried it......

I'm not a fan of the MOSFUDAT drill, I can't remember where I learned this drill but I call it the "Whitey don't lie" drill, set the cueball on the foot spot and an object ball on the head spot, the objective is to shoot a stop shot on the object ball, drive it to the rail have it rebound back...

The Bulletproof Recoil tip is a really hard tip but it holds chalk like no other, once you shape it all you need is a TipPik type tool to rough it up, I just tap it straight in at the same curvature as the tip and it lasts for about 20 hours of continuous play, you will get a minimum of 1 year...
