In my opinion if you don't learn YOUR vision center you are wasting your time, it's not eye hand coordination, it's eye, brain hand coordination, if your brain is telling your hand you are hitting the cueball straight but you are not you will struggle with this game.

A truly humbling drill, I've only had a perfect results 2 times in thousands of attempts, the drill is difficult because if your tip strikes the cueball even a hair to the right or left you will fail and if your stroke is not straight you will fail

The table you buy will be FAR better than the one you own now, it will give you the ability to PRACTICE, not just play games, do you play in league? If yes, practicing on a table that you will compete on will help, that's my 2 cents worth, hope it helps

Built one of those myself, have a few ball sets including 1 really beat up set and it does a great job on all of them, less than $40 and about 2 hours into building it AND I don't have to "replace" any cleaning parts, take the microfiber towel off wash it and it's like new again.

All quality tooling machinery have better tolerances than machinery of old just like everything else, even cheaper cues are better built, old growth wood is harder to find and more expensive but many like me are using CF, the advantage being repeatability in how the cue plays, if it feels good...

I'll give you that, the shape of TAOM chalk makes it easier to apply correctly too in my humble opinion, it's easier to wipe instead of drill......

Do you like your cue? Don't worry about what anyone else thinks about your cue, they don't have to use it, look at the cue Efren started out with, after a while you may try different cues and find one you like better but this might be just the right cue for you, if you truly want to be a better...

I think LePro is a pretty hard tip and the Bulletproof Recoil is harder than that in my opinion but has the best chalk retention of any tip I've ever used, I was not a hard tip guy until I tried the Recoil tip so you may be the better judge there, I am still using the 1st one installed on my cue...

You are correct, I assume you have already found your vision center, that should be the first thing you learn before learning anything else, if you don't know how your brain computes what true center is it's going to be a long journey.......
