Facebook is the best way to find and communicate with him.

I found him in the “New Cue Builders” Facebook group.

The hue indicates either higher temp and or longer torrefication process. The process typically heats the wood and removes moisture. Darker shafts are lighter and the tone of the hit will change. All of my kielwood shafts play quite stiff. I am not certain if that is a function of the...

The Douglas Moore option is interesting and I had an early dark roasted kielwood from Runde crack. I'd give a plug to Scott Gracio's carbon cored kielwood for price, delivery and performance. He matches rings and can deliver in less than a week and charges $350. I love the look and play of the...

I plan on attending the Mosconi Cup for the first time this year. I have never attended a professional pool event. Based on ticket availability, it looks like Saturday is the most popular day. Only secondary market tickets look available for that day and they are approx $400+ for non VIP. It is...

I struggled to come up with a scenario or incentive that made any sort of sense. I postulated a bit and came her to see what I might be missing.

Inspired by the hotel with a pool table thread, Do you have a favorite restaurant that has a cool billiard table that is sort of unknown? One of my favorites is the Elevator in downtown Columbus, OH. Most people probably don’t know they have tables. The building opened in 1897 as Bott’s...

I was not aware of Aloft being pool table friendly but they are a Marriott brand. My previous experience at the Renaissance LAX was also a Marriott brand. I hope they continue to include pool tables at their properties. I fear that they will continue to disappear over time.

I have more questions. Finding a tarot card reader seems straight forward. How does a corporate event planner find a pool demo guy? I am curious about the experience. Were you there to encourage games or what sort of role did they have in mind? How did the tarot card reader get sequestered to...

Did you play on this table? If so, did you rent the room specifically for the pool table?

Well, in the case of my previous post, my wife booked a hotel specifically looking for a pool table. I am certain I am in a market segment that should be ignored but I’ll continue to provide preference to hotels that have them.
