Hello, I am trying to locate the 2 black spacer collars for a 1940s Master Stroke pool cue. They are above and below the white joint. Any help is appreciated. Thank you, Jim

My ferrule Thanks again for the information. I suggested to him to take a light skim cut off the face of black part and put on a new tip. When he did he found metal in the middle. I was worried that it was a screw on tip and I messed it up. I just wanted to keep it original as possible.

I have a Willie Hoppe cue which appears to have a 2 piece ferrule. I have other Hoppes that have all buck horn or all ivory ferrules. My cue tip person thought it to be a screw in tip. Or is it original? Found this cue on net that looks just like mine. Any info appreciated.

I like Doctor Cheng pool cues . Nice priced very good hitting cues. IMO

I originally went to the estate sale for antique billiard chairs they advertised . Some lady bought them and most of the billiard stuff already . I was about to leave and then I spotted 2 of these cues . One ebony and one lighter wood. I regret not buying both. Live and learn.

I believe he bored out the butt and installed a brass threaded sleeve for strength . I is very ridged now. It hits solid.

Thanks. Its my favorite cue . The feel of ebony is unique. It seems very hard and tight grained . I have read some where that ebony is used to make magic wands. I hope to use it to cast a spell on my game. LOL

OK. All I have to do is cut the sub rail angle of the bevel slightly and use the k55 cushions which will bring down my nose height. sounds like a plan . thank you.

So you are saying that the table will unplayable at 1/16th of an inch over the ideal nose height? Can you tell by looking at a picture of my rails which cushion should be used? The guy I bought my facings told me my rails were cut for k-66 cushion . Is that true? ( 1890s table) Just wondering...
