What is the Predator vault plate/V-TEk pad?

The vault plate sets below the ferrule? Seems the plate would have to have a hole in it. So its really a vault donut? Maybe a list with the order of the parts will clarify. I see 5 parts in the shaft pic...really?

Took a look at some cf shafts a friend purchased.. 4 for $80. On first look...seemed pretty nice. Felt good, looked good, weight, tip and joint OD good. Taper seemed ok. Not bad for $20. Wall thickness seemed ok. Then I whacked it against my hand to see how it flexed. Hmmmm....didnt seem to flex...

Might be a better way to attach to the pin instead of holding the gun...

    The Finishing Conundrum

I use a small fan that moves air/fumes across the length of the cue. Then an additional box fan placed in a door way that blows air outside. I never smell any CA fumes.

    The Finishing Conundrum

You should look into super glue finish. I was also very frustrated with what finish to use. Tried several including solerez. Never used or tried auto clear...too much hassle, expense and danger for me. Im not a cue maker full time, just a cue making hack thats made a few cues. I read a couple of...
