Interesting responses. A friend of mine was in a Goodwill about year ago and sent me a pic of a steel jointed JW that he grabbed for $20. Like the OPs description, the shaft was skinny, maybe 12 MM, and the butt cap was cracked, but geez! He also got a vertical logo Huebler a few months earlier...

I just had one shipped from FL. The delivery date was 3 days out. All of sudden "your package has been delayed." When it finally showed up in tracking a few days later, it was in Puerto Rico! It spent some vacation days there and finally ended up here over 2 weeks after shipping! I remember when...
