    Solid vs layered tips

My "mussel" memory is with a little white wine and garlic. Might have to have that on NYE.

Cue and case signed by Luther Lassiter

I think you'd have better luck posting this in the main forum, or have the mods move it over there for you. Good luck.

Custom and High End Cues on the Decline?

And what Earl used really bears no commonality to the Cuetecs people are using now.

Who builds the Becue, full pool cues, and are they popular?

Sounds like fun, but I'm thinking my wife wouldn't approve 🙂

Who builds the Becue, full pool cues, and are they popular?

I play with the Becue Naked with the Prime M, 12.5. I like it a lot and like the utility of full carbon for cold weather transport and bar play. I can tell you that the feel of their shafts in your bridge hand is different than any other CF shaft I've tried, and I've tried quite a few. It just...

Ultimate Pool Shootout North Carolina bracket

Some of the manipulation of the balls to keep the runs going was super impressive. Great touch, great creativity, a very fun watch.

    Les Blevins Cue

Nice cue. I know they're somewhat hard to find. Looks to be in darn good shape for being made in 96. I'm not super familiar with his cues but interesting to see that short of a ferrule on that old of a cue, but maybe he did them like that. I would ballpark around $500 give or take.

Ever Gone Up A Tip Size?

Seems stupid when you look at a .10 of a MM, but damn, it makes a difference! 12.6 is my ideal too but not easy to find, so I play with a 12.5 usually. I can adapt to pretty much any size with a few hours of play, but 12.6 seems perfect.

If a gun was put to your head to choose one player to pocket a difficult shot for you, who would you choose?

Chuck Norris once bowled a perfect game with a marble. I'd choose him.

    Help Identify This Cue

I thought Huebler right away too but don't think I've ever seen him use that joint material, that I know of. The whole cue, butt cap, bolt, shaft color, all looks too pristine to be 70's era old. Maybe an old Huebler, refinished, wrapped and some new components added.

Take all of the weight out of your break cue

If this is true, and it probably is, then it makes sense that you would move to a heavier breaker as you age. The only thing fast twitch on this guy anymore are my eyelids!

Do used but practically new McDermott’s that had a $1400 MSRP usually sell for $500?

It says new never used and then says a small nick in the handle. Possible I suppose, but seems strange.

    Purchased as an "unknown"...

I know this isn't a Meucci but the design brings me back to the HP1 I used to play with. Another one I regret parting with.
