Yes Bob Frey makes great cue's and I do think he has enough recognition to get 500$ for his sneaky petes.

I don't think they are super hard but Triangle have always been a good tip with nice feel, and they aren't priced like the others. :)

I have to agree if I had a cue made today it would be from Leon Sly.

Tim Scruggs, his cues were some of the best ever made and he was a hell of guy.

Those look great, with the right tools anyone should be able to do this.

Nothing wrong with a plain jane cue at all, but sometimes the look of a traditional 4 point 4 veneer cue is pleasing to the eye. There are plenty of variations in design from people like Bill McDaniel, Mike Cochran, Leon Sly, Denis Deikman, Steve Lomax etc. To each their own, none of it affects...

Get the Mezz or a Schon.

Amazing cue and design, tasteful and not flashy, great inlays and shapes. One of the best Scruggs I have seen.
