I think this belongs in the NPR forum. Recovery from shoulder surgery is tough to gauge. I've had multiple shoulder surgeries and the recovery time has varied with each. The first surgery I had was an arthroscopic labrum repair and felt about 90% about 5 months after. Never really got back...
