I tend to agree with this the most, why would anyone cheer for a non money ball if it was a clearly/well known rule? The side bar could have been about anything, but apparently OP and the rest of the spectators were oblivious to the "money ball" rule...

I just have trouble seeing distances, for example, when at my computer for work I never wear my glasses either and can see the screens and regular font sizes just fine. I can still see long shots on a table very well.

I honestly have to take my glasses off to shoot pool, I cannot adjust when I have to look over them or under them for shooting.

I bought a cheap holder on ebay designed for predator chalk for around $6-$10, Have had no problems with it.

I use Predator chalk, works great.

I honestly do not really put much thought into shot speed, it is almost a natural process when I get down on the shot.
