Fancy Wrapless Merry Widow -- $299.00

Isn't that a Stones song? I see a red cue and I want to paint it black....

 thanks for this excellent start into my day :)

but seriously, mcd makes a good cue for the money. and the gcore shaft is their best "modern day" shaft. not as good as the old mcd shafts but still pretty good

this is probably why they dont want comments on for sale items
would get ones like

ohhh CUSTOM black paint
or fancy? plane jane? really?

Not bad, why do you call it a Merry Widow? Also it says it is painted black. I don't know about that, painted?

Looks like a Merry Widow to me, no points or inlays, with rings. Although the painted part is a bit odd, they usually do that on their cheaper line and just stain the wood in the US made stuff.

a lot of people like black forearms/butsleeves but dont like the weight of ebony for example. coring an ebony forearm would drive the cost up, so maybe its an easy solution for serving this kind of customers.

If someone gave me $300.00 to buy this cue with I'd probably give them the money back...but seriously I'd buy to resale, but more people in a pool hall wouldn't spend more than 300 anyways..

You can buy at least (5) McD Lucky Cues for $299.00 and they play Great.
Prolly the best deal out there for a starter cue or bar cue. Check eBay.

oops save $224 from the "list price", price $254 on Ozone, decent price. Not my taste, but I have a G-Core shaft on one cue and it hits well.

'DaveM' found the deal -- $254.00 at Ozone and you get a Free soft 1x1 case.

If that's not enough they are also throwing in a 'Ghost Ball Aim Trainer' .. what ever the hell that might be.

I have some G-Core shafts at the house. They are reasonably low deflection, and provide excellent feel and good weight. I think the finish on the G-Core shaft is also one of it's strong points. They feel real nice in your bridge hand.

I put a Katana shaft on a Lucky and love it.

That's how I use my shaft in places I don't want to lose my real cue in, got a Lucky cue while I was in Vegas at a CSI event with my son, used my shaft with it since they all come with a 3/8x10 pin.

Did not have to carry my cue, just stuck the shaft in my son's case, paid $50 for the cue while there, now I have a break cue and a beater/loaner cue also. Don't like the wrap or balance too much even with my shaft on it, but for cheap, it's a solid built cue.

The McD cue of the month can be a good deal though if you are looking for something like what they have, it's a bit like the Players HXT/PureX line, you almost get the cue free for the price of the shaft, check out how much just the G shaft costs, then see how much the full cue with it costs. Not a bad deal if you want the cue they are selling.

I had a Lucky Cue and sold it to a coworker who kept bugging me. This was after I had acquired 2 more expensive cues. I missed the Lucky cue so much I bought it again and still use it from time to time. Had someone else request to buy just this weekend and I couldn't part with it.....I showed him the website and said buy your own, lol.
