Chalk gate at the open !!!!

Why not using some of that added money to buy chalk for the whole event, and have it on all of the tables, to share? If TAOM is the cleanest, and maybe the best, then buy that stuff, to put on all of the tables. Then, make it a rule that the chalk will be provided on the tables, to share. Lol...

Does anyone here have any experience with JC custom cues, from Taiwan?

Long shot, but curious if anyone here has any experience with JC custom cues, from Taiwan? https://www.jccues-en.com/ To be honest, I just need a cheap shaft (that is hopefully good quality), lol, and J&J cues has spare shafts, made by JC, that use the joint that I need...

I do not think that some people have guilt within them. They lack that emotion.

    I Want To Buy Something

How about a nice Black Boar? https://www.newart.co.jp/243923.html Or, maybe a Ginacue? https://www.newart.co.jp/219872.html

Fred “Scooter” Goodman is a thief. Here’s how he stole from me:

Yeah, the one I had looked pretty similar to this one, which is a 1995 GT Performer. I see it was around a $500 bike, at the time, so I think that is probably the one that I had. I thought it looked so cool. Still makes me so angry, thinking about that kid who basically stole the bike from me...

I think of the break as a skill set, so why have rules, and so many rules, restricting the break?

The thing that I do not understand is that, if they get a certain amount of balls up table, as the rules require, then why can it still be considered a Soft Break? I mean, if they are breaking hard enough to get a certain amount of balls up table, past the side pocket, or whatever the rule...

Do the WNT rules state that breaks need to be a certain speed?

Help with thoughts on the price range that you might charge for this 8 Point (Thuya Burl, into Ebony) cue, if you were to build something similar?

Sounds really interesting. Thanks for your reply. It would be neat to see a video of a cue maker doing points like this. I wonder how long cue makers have been doing these types of 8 point cues, or any type of points that needed recuts in the points. They just look really neat to me. I just...

I think of the break as a skill set, so why have rules, and so many rules, restricting the break?

Yeah, Filler was beating everyone, like 9-0, 9-1. I think he practically ran the set out on SVB, iirc. He would make the wing ball, and get shape, like every time. Make it look like child's play. It was pretty cool to see, lol.

I think of the break as a skill set, so why have rules, and so many rules, restricting the break?

But, that is the whole reason why they came up with requiring a certain amount of balls, to get past the spot, or past side pockets (up table), right? Lol, sorry, I do not know which one it is, or how many balls need to get up table, for it to not be considered a Soft Break. If he did that...

I think of the break as a skill set, so why have rules, and so many rules, restricting the break?

So, he will continue to break as soft as possible, just so the rules allow it. And, there should be no rules that are based on subjective opinion, in my opinion, lol.

I think of the break as a skill set, so why have rules, and so many rules, restricting the break?

Yeah, there should not be any rules that are subjective, in my opinion. I just do not think that is right. On paper though, he was doing nothing against the rules, other then the subjective opinion of the Ref (and his opponent), right? Why not just have a rule that states you must get at least 3...

Again, we was following all of the rules though, right? Or, is the Soft Break all based on opinion?

Do the WNT rules state that the cue ball must be traveling at a minimum speed, or what? Very curious.
