Nicest Cue Builder you’ve dealt with?

Steve Lomax seems like such a nice guy. He has been so friendly to me whenever I talked to him, over email. If I had the money, I would order a cue from him. One of my favorite players, Justin Bergman, played with a Lomax, for a very long time, I believe. Also, was it Alex Pagulayan, who...

    Mike Webb seems super nice.

Worst Cue by a Revered Builder.

From my experience, he was a 1st class A Hole. He treated me so horrible on this one deal. Sent me a sneaky pete cue, that was like the biggest POS that I ever held in my hand, and it somehow got a crack in the butt, that was not my doing, and he blamed me. Said that it must have been my fault...

Worst Cue by a Revered Builder.

Dale Perry? I always felt that his earlier (90's era) cues were high quality, but his newer cues (anything that he made with a Radial Pin) were pretty Garbage quality. The wood in the shafts really felt like garbage. He could not even put a decent taper on the shafts. I had 2, that were like...

    Pia Filler hates wood shafts

The Power / Feedback was not in my head, I know that much. Found myself being able to draw the cue ball much easier, and the English felt much crazier too, if that makes any sense. It was not in my head, lol.

    Pia Filler hates wood shafts

Just get a Whyte Carbon (by Triple 60). Has amazing feel, and amazing power, in my opinion. Love that shaft so much. A friend let me use one, during a tournament, one night, for a few hours, and it was really a game changer for me. The Deflection felt ultra low (Like Zero deflection, it seemed)...

Breaking ground on new backyard pool hall

Yeah, if a young Ralph Greenleaf would be there, competing against whoever his top contenders of the time were. Edit: This is Pool, not Baseball. Not even most pool players would show up to see that live.

Cue Prices today, in this economy.

I have no idea how the high end, 2nd hand cue market is doing, but I follow Crossroad cues, on his youtube channel, and I really love his channel (really interesting videos that he posts, showing the high end cues that he has for sale, and I love hearing him talk about them, while showing them)...

Yeah, and have you seen Schon retail prices, in recent years? Insanity. And, I do not believe they are as high quality as they used to be, when Evan Clarke ran Schon cues.

Figured BEM handle, on a Players PureX pool cue. Real, or Fake / Decal / Graphic Overlay?

I do not understand. The shafts were the issue.

Figured BEM handle, on a Players PureX pool cue. Real, or Fake / Decal / Graphic Overlay?

Yeah, but I know that I still have no chance.

Some of you guys are just so mean. Go ahead, laugh it up. I could probably take you on the pool table with 1 Arm though.

Figured BEM handle, on a Players PureX pool cue. Real, or Fake / Decal / Graphic Overlay?

I admitted that I was wrong. Chris was really nice about explaining it to me. I still believe the very nicely figured BEM Handle to be real though.

Figured BEM handle, on a Players PureX pool cue. Real, or Fake / Decal / Graphic Overlay?

What appeared to be Maple veneers to me, looked very real. Chris did an amazing job explaining to me about why this is a Decal cue though. He told me that the Maple is probably real, but the entire design going over it is a Decal. This figured Maple, in the handle looks so real to me though...
