Seeing the contact point on the object ball.

Here is the detailed instructions on how the "Equal and Opposite" technique works ... the 3 steps. https://www.cutshots.com/learn/?srsltid=AfmBOoqzMpy5tnszrv93pGBsh9x9IaBFZHXFFHZ8zJqTqch6FGcobCOm

Seeing the contact point on the object ball.

Equal Angle Opposites sounds complicated to me. If you extend the red line through the OB in the diagram you posted in post 89, you will see that the segment to the left of the extended line is equal to the segment to the right of the red line on the CB and vice-versa. Easier for me to...

Seeing the contact point on the object ball.

For an average Fargo rated player, I believe this "equal and opposite segment" description for cut shots is the best I have seen for my short time playing pool. I have been using this technique since I saw it here and I think it improved my game. It definitely makes lining up for the shot...

    WNT, WPA and 2026

It would be interesting to know why the 4.5" side pockets for the Predator ARC table seem to play much more difficult than the same size Predator Apex side pockets. To me (just eyeballing) it seems like the ARC has "more" parallel sides than the Apex. Any insight on this?

PBS St Louis 2026 (Men’s World 8 Ball Championship, Mixed Doubles, Women’s Open, Bank Pool), 1-8 April, Half Million Prize Fund

I vaguely remember someone (maybe Mark White) saying it was his nephew also.

If someone asks me what I remember about Fu from watching this event, I would say "makes the extremely difficult shots, misses or scratches on relatively easy shots and jumps the table a lot for breaks and jump shots." She needs some fine tuning after her layoff from the game. Oh, by the way...

That's what I thought... that the Apex is being used with 4 1/8" corners. For some reason, one commentator keeps saying it's the Predator ARC being used. I also saw a Facebook comment from Darren Appleton that the ARC is the perfect table guessing that he is also thinking that the ARC is...

What table are they playing on in St. Louis - current tournament? I heard a commentator saying it's the Predator ARC and another saying it's the Predator Apex. I thought the ARC had the gold lining pockets and the Apex had the black lining like the ones in this tournament. I note that the...

I personally don't mind him even though he has a kinda sleepy voice. His best line was that they should have switched around the names for FU/Bergman in the score template for the doubles 😆

Cinderella and the Prince going to the dance tomorrow night! What a match! I literally got a headache watching in disbelief 😆 🤣

According to Wikipedia, Albin won the 8 ball last year but never won 10 ball.

Testing Kicks and Banks on Diamond Brand Tables, and How to Adjust Aiming

Why do you have to add the tenths for the banks relative to kicks (e.g. 4 to 2 for kicks and 4.4 to 2 for banks)? Was this developed through practice or is there a "physics" explanation for it?

Gorst dishes on US Open, lopsided prize funds, long race with Filler

It would be a good if someone can ask Karim about his revenue stream on a Podcast. Someone did ask him about the number of employees and he was willing to answer, but he might be more reluctant on revenues - doesn't hurt to ask though. Karim said that he would like to see prize money in the...

Gorst dishes on US Open, lopsided prize funds, long race with Filler

Annual revenues of $6 million is not enough to cover salary for 200 employees worldwide and expenditures. Predator does not make its income statement available so I would not give much credence to Internet search values. The same internet search says that the carbon fiber market is about $400...

Pro Pocket Size TOO Small for 9 Ball

Not sure what kind of marketing research these pool promoters do, but I think there has to be 99.9999% agreement that it is brutal to watch pro players ducking the Predator ARC side pocket. Hopefully, Predator will use good sense and redesign that pocket. Granted that you cannot satisfy...
