Ment to say that # is a 3/8" insert,didn't hit shift key.

They have them for both 1/4 & 3/8 that 3 is for a 3/8" with a .008 radius I actualy prefer the 1/64 radius as it cuts smoother for me.These are great inserts. Wayde

Don't forget if you are playing BCA a non leather tip is illegal,I personly use a very pressed triangle tip trimed short on a phenolic ferrule and it works very well,with much more control than a solid phenolic. Wayde

Yes the thread will fit, however both have piloted joints not flat faced,but it should work ok,jmho.No tool needed thread the adapter to the shaft as snug as possible by hand then put the shaft on the butt and tighten it down.P.S. the adapter should be glued in.good luck
