    Pool Ball Weights

Major "oops" on my part ... I didn't read it carefully enough [i.e., not NEARLY enough]. It's nice to "occasionally" be reminded that I am human ... ✌️

    Molinari Gloves

I like full fingered gloves because I play most of my recreational billiards in bars ... I would even like to find full fingered [w/ 5 "FINGERS"] gloves for use in "sleazy dive bars" where nothin' gets cleaned for YEARS ... I don't want to share bodily fluids & germs with the "interesting...

    Pool Ball Weights

Although he didn't "dangle any participles" he did "dangle the dot" ... He obviously meant "2.49" but typed ".249"

    Pool Ball Weights

The 40 year old ball has been worn down in size from flyin' around on [quite probably] "chalky cloth" for 40 years. It was 2 1/4 inches when it was new.

    Bashing other aiming systems

I have a favorite aiming system that works exceptionally well for me. If I wasn't a "geezer" with a "somewhat" nervous stroke and inconsistent alignment I would be 200 Fargo points higher. I have beaten several pros over the years with it. I'm a former Physics & Mathematics scholar in the...

    QUICK CLEAN TABLE CLEANER

Anyone with experience using Championship table cleaner???

    Has 9 ball always...

It's only a "slop" game if both players are "slop" players ... There are plenty of games/sports that have some luck involved to go along with [and occasionally against] the skillsets that make the superior players "superior" ... Let's say T. Woods is heads up against R. McIlroy ... McIlroy...

    High Humidity Play

Just wash & dry your hands with a soap that does NOT have any lotion in it. Keep a clean and dry towel with your cue case. You might want to buy a small bottle of dish soap and put some in a small "douche kit" bottle [to keep in your cue case] from the "travel size" display at your local large...

    Low deflection shaft theory question

The pie shape construction is to improve "radial consistency" ... it has NOTHING to do with eliminating "squirt". The best high high technology WOOD shafts incorporate both. Carbon fiber shafts [probably] don't need to include the pie shape construction unless the carbon fiber cladding is...

Anyone else ever pull out an old cue, play great with it, and suddenly doubt which is your favorite?

I just now looked at their site [see my prior reply to this thread] and couldn't find any diagram/schematic ... so you're on your own. You could always buy one and disassemble it to see how it is made ... or just buy another well received brand.

Anyone else ever pull out an old cue, play great with it, and suddenly doubt which is your favorite?

I used to be a Pechauer dealer, but we parted ways shortly after they came out with their "low deflection" shaft that I found to be VERY "squirty" ... They were radially consistent, but the deflection was BAD!!! I looked at their online "diagram" and noticed why they didn't achieve low...

The sound shockwave from a cue hit

McDermott makes excellent production cues AND they are very well known for their "soft hit" and not surprisingly their cues are quiet, too. BTW, if you "google"... McDermott blog video ... you can watch an amazing video showing their production process from "start to finish". I happen to sell...

Stolen Cues & Case Alert! (Phoenix AZ)

I doubt that his car was in a "one car" enclosure ... One of his "neighbors" and/or "neighbors friends" pulled off the heist! I lived in that area about 20 years ago [for one year and then "escaped" back to the west coast]. I'm sure things have gotten worse [the whole world has gotten worse...

    schmelke cue

I stand "bitch-slapped" ... congrats!!! Btw, I was trying to use that as an analogy. I'm not a biker [Outlaw, Hell's Angel, Mongol, etc] nor an avid/professional 24 year old cyclist. Since the Schmelke family is in the Cuemaker's Hall of Fame, I think it is reasonable to assume that 100% [as...

    schmelke cue

If you leave your $$$$ bicycle out in the rain, it'll rust. If you leave your cues in the trunk of your car, in your damp garage "pool room" and/or leaning "up against the wall, motherf**ker" they'll warp. Nothing wrong with Players or a J&J except that despite the way they "coat" their shafts...
