My vintage Schon (mfg. in 1985) has their standard ferrule material. (Micarta is what I was told it was back in the day) It is quite a yellowish color, and I actually do not remember if it was any whiter. I have cleaned it using all the standard methods, but the yellow doesn't budge. Anyone...
