What Ever Happened To Chalk-Off Pool Table Cleaner?

The other nice thing is it will get coke, beer and Jaeger up and not leave a stain if you catch it when it happens.

I never had a problem getting spilled coke off my table... usually all is needed is a short straw. :)

Seriously, I used the Sardo rack for a while and thought it did a decent job. I wouldn't say it was much better than a regular rack, but now that the template style racks came out the Sardo looks way cooler hanging on my wall than a regular rack would, so that's a plus.

You guys with old cans of Chalk Off could prolly get big money by
selling them to local school kids who "huff" chemicals to get high

We had a neighbor kid (in the 1950's) who huffed gasoline from
his Dad's John Deere. He would crawl atop the engine cowling,
straddle the gas tank, and lower his head close to the tank opening.
He would take several deep breaths, sit up straight, pass out, and
fall onto the ground in the fetal position. Several minutes would
pass and he would repeat the process. He dropped out of school
at age 16 and ran away from home.

Anyway, I've always viewed Chalk Off and the Sardo Rack as "gimmicks".
A high quality billiard cloth vacuum, used regularly, is the very best
method for cloth maintenance.
I also highly recommend the Delta-13 Rack. It performs flawlessly and
will last several lifetimes.

So when he ran away was he driving the tractor?

search around the forums would help. The "chalk-off subject" has been discussed in the past. Quick Clean was the initial product, and it worked charms. I can't remember how soon after that Chalk-Off emerged, I guess it was this year when it appeared in BCN videos as commercials. And it probably was its first and last year.
Chalk-Off received so many negative reviews from the users... And the inventor of Quick Clean also was saying that Chalk-Off is nothing more than a bad copy of his original product. That's all I remember.
I've been using Quick Clean in the past and was very satisfied with the results. Ordinary microfiber cloth does similar trick though (but with Quick Clean spray charging chalk particles with opposite made them stick to microfiber better).

I think the chalkoff lasted a couple of years as i had several conversations with Dave? of Quickclean over the course of many events about his pending lawsuit vs ChalkOff and it seemed to go on and on. Dave kept his cool but he was obviously very upset that they took half his living away. I hope he won a monetary award.
