It is a heavy one.
Not sure. Not a real long list. Could be west coast east coast or even Gulf coast. Pretty narrow field.
Interesting cue. The maker took the time to line up all of the inlays from the butt sleeve to the points and the rings are lined up as well.
They are not in a line. nearly though. The inlays are .
Picked it up and hit with it. I got to ask Bob Frey if he built it. It shoots winners all day long.

The wood on the pilot and balance and inlay work are very nice. Jessie June? I thought about selling it but sold one of my guitars instead!

That sounds suspiciously like a porn reference LOL. I'm not sure if I ever heard of the guy's last name,but the Jessie I mean was a huge cuemaker in the Phillipines back in the day. The one I saw when he won the U.S. Open had big rings and a stainless butt cap,and by that point looked like it had been doctored up with a brown paint pen from the original version. Watch the Kunihiko Takahashi match,that's it. Tommy D.
Jessie June worked for Bill McDanials. The cue is that caliber build. It plays like my Frey or Scruggs and cues. Same balance and same tappers. Compares to these. The two other pearl cues were either JW or TS builds is what a couple collectors including Denny Glen seem to agree.
The more I look at this thing the more I am sure of one thing. No clue is what I have on this baby.
Did you try Steve Klein, or, to a lesser extent, maybe Kenny Murrell?
