Hi Guys,

Here's a sought after Tascarella Wrapless Rosewood Hoppe style cue with 3 custom shafts and custom set of JP.
Butt weigh in at 14.3oz with 5/16-14 pin with Ivy over steel.
S1 is 12.90mm with standard pete tip and weigh in at 4.3oz,
S2 is 12.80mm with Dennis searing M weigh in at 4oz
S3 is 12.50mm weighing in at 3.6oz.
S3 has a slight taper roll but roll flat with the cue butt and also has a slightly small collar diameter.

Cue butt and S1 and S2 are straight together and apart.

Only issue on this cue is the surface crack on the ivy joint per pic (the joint can be replaced by the Tascarella Team for about $500). Surface crack has no impact to the super solid playability of this cue. The set of joint protectors cost about $450.00

Pricing this cue at SOLD shipped. Paypal as gift or cashier check payment only.

Any questions, please let me know.

No idea of cost. I’d imagine $500 or so. I could be mistaken. Last I checked they could do either ivory or a substitute.

Do you know how much it is to have the joint change or repair?? Does Pete or Jr works with iv joint anymore??
Pete recently moved his shop to VA, so not really sure if he'll be able to take on the work yet. Last time I checked ivory joint was a 400 plus options (that was 5 years ago). Just confirmed with Pete, the cost to replace the joint is 500 including blending to existing finish. $60 per shaft to ensure shaft match perfectly with minor refinish (optional).

Beautiful cue. I love the hit of their ivory over stainless joint.

Tascarella home page still shows NY. Where in VA if I may ask?

It’ll cost 500 for supertusk replace, no ivory material. Also, 60$ for each shaft for refinish and make it fit to new joint. According to Theresa. You’ll need to send in the cue to have it fix. Shipping to and return shipping should be pay by buyer. Takes 2 weeks to do it.

Thanks Kenney, didn't realize it was for supertusk only.

CueMaster (question)
you're sure you have a good read from your scale when weighing the butt?
14.3oz, that seems odd, was the butt weighted at one time?

i think it's missing 1oz
I have several Tascarella cues. Butts range from 14.3 oz to 16.1 oz. It depends on the build. I’m not saying the weight is correct, I'm saying that Tascarella’s don’t have a specific target weight in the butt. It depends on what the person wants when they order.

OK, now check the 2 shafts that fit, thay're both 4+ oz.
That butt should be 15oz +
I don't know specifically about his cue. But I do know that Some people want cues under 19.0 oz. Not many but some, so even with 4.0 oz shafts you can have a butt under 15.0 oz. I've owned several Tascarella cues and currently own six. Three have butts that weigh in the 15.0-15.5 range, but the other three are 14.3, and 2 over 17.0. It depends on the age and what the order required. I've owned 16 Tascarella cues and I think most people that know will concur. It's not mandatory for the butt to be 15+ oz. It's desirable but not mandatory. And the shafts on all those cues range from 3.8 to 4.2 oz.

The butt on this cue would be heavier if the weight bolt was added back. The hoppe style bolt was replaced with a plastic one so that a bumper can be added hence the butt is lighter. If the weight bolt is added back, it would be closer to 14.5 to 14.8oz, depending.

Might ship this one back to Pete to have some work done.
