A Very good friend of mine, George Aronek and to the US 3 Cushion world died today!

George was 98, He contracted Covid and was in a nursing home and died in His sleep.

George was a past Great President of THE BILLIARD FEDERATION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

He's with His longtime Pal, Allen Gilbert now! I'll see you guys in the future.

R.I.P. George.

I believed the company name was American Vinyl Products, or AGQ case.

A few decades ago I was traveling to LA on business. Harry Sims tells me I should look up Allen Gilbert and gave me his phone number. I did contact him and we met at Hollywood Elks Club. George came sometime later and after we quit playing, they invited me to dinner.

Geo and Allen treated me like a long lost friend.

A great evening with lots of stories and laughs.

Good people.

Sad to hear the news.

Wow
I spoke with George and David like 20 years ago when they were selling the Harvey Martin package that Alan Gilbert gave the Aronek family
David calls me once in awhile And they were quite the characters
My condolences to the Aronek friends and family

Yes, American Vinyl Products was a successful business creating all sorts of vinyl products for packaging of accessories for many companies. I think George created the cue cases to create a job for Al, they were very good friends.

I went to their shop to pick out my first case and got the grand tour, you would not believe the companies they worked with (I think Barbie was one).

I met George in 1976 when I moved to California. He was a great guy who did a lot for people and, as you all know, he did so much for 3 cushion in the 🇺🇸. He had the best penmanship and his tournament boards were a work of art. He will be missed <sigh>. RIP George.

Very sad. I wasn't aware that Covid had a roll, shit. Rest in peace George.

And Bill, don't be in a hurry to join them.

Right, I knew there was a lot of pink lol. The company my wife worked for before we were married use AVP for their accessory packaging.
