I saw Jason Klatt with a fairly long draw shot, easy to reach.
He attached a 3'' weight to the end of the butt.
He shot.... got too much draw.
Max legal cue weight 25 oz.

Was it just an extension? It seems everyone has a extension these days. The 8 inch extension that came with my cue is just a cheap plastic light weight piece.

There are weights to add to the shaft --- not butt--- to help when cue stick must be jacked up:

If I was shooting on Slow Cloth, that weight/cue/butt/attachment move I like.
Like me, I Always played with one foot on the floor.
Then might implement that rule into our game if needed later on.
6'6''

Normal shooting position. Ball 2' from pocket, cue ball 4' from object ball, he needed 6' of draw.

Who is going to challenge the weight rule? A player might respond with "I want every cue in the 128 player tournament weighed. All the cues in all players bags."
