With REVO being sold out for months now, Im considering another brand. I currently play with and like the REVO 11.8 and 12.4 currently. Does anyone have any knowledge of how the Bull Carbon hits compared to a Predator REVO?

EDIT - I need 11.8 in Uniloc

I just checked 10 seconds ago, a bunch of 12.9's and 12.4's are available. No 11.8's. Mostly uniloc, mostly 29".

Also Seyberts, JoeRackEm, and the other vendors may have stock.

To answer OP's questions, I hit the Bull Carbon on a tournament they sponsored in VA in 2023. It felt very good in the hands, but def squirted more than my Revo. I said this to the company rep. He then took out another shaft from his case, and said it was a prototype. I hit it, and thought it played very close to a Revo as far as squirt went. I think I played it about 20 min before giving it back. IDK if that model had ever been released for sale, and if so, if it replaced the old model, or there are 2 concurrent ones.

Their joint was nifty. It was interchangeable with other threads with a screwed in piece. It was well executed. I personally think that idea doesn't add any value to a shaft for 99% of players.

The retail price from what I recall the rep said to me was the same as the Revo.

I never hit another one since then.

I did like the 2nd prototye shaft. Not enough to cause me to change from Revo though, especially since the price point was the same or very close. But it was very good quality.

Sorry, I was not clear. I only need 11.8 in a Uniloc. Thats what I have not been able to find so far. There are a few radial shafts out there in 11.8

bull carbon wont be drastic difference
what makes you want to try another brand?
most all of these will feel very similar/ stiff
rhino, etc

the one that stands apart for me was the cuetec 11.8
softer hit, much less squirt than the predator i felt

If you've shot with one, the original Bull Carbon is closer to a Cynergy than a Revo. It's not as low deflection as the Revo, but it's not far off. It's a nice shaft and I think you would be happy with it.

I have not shot with one of the newer RK shafts, but they are supposed to be lower deflection.

I didnt want another brand, but REVO 11.8 has been sold out forever. I like what you said about the Cuetec. A softer hit would be cool if the deflection didnt suffer much.
