World Pool Championships 2025, July 21-26, Jeddah

Notable matches for me today. With my luck they will probably show 1 of these

Mustafa alnar vs roda
Big kaci vs melly
Raga vs soufi
Bernie regulario vs ko pin yi
Albin vs James aranas (sexy battle)
Lee van Corteza vs biado (pinoy on pinoy crime)
AJ manas vs majin yapp

yea, agree, hope they show raga v soufi. yesterday they didn't show 16:00 matches?

i was questioning putting melling v kaci on the tv table. melling is not really a contender imo. but it's been good so far, melling is actually breaking well for once and he is leading..

Fedor and Francesca practiing before the match. I'm not familiar with Francesca from Italy, but I sure wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley. That look! On the offs, he and Fedor were sharing a few laughs. So he looks like a good guy. :)

I think its a good test for kaci, he still isn't back to form.

Can someone help me figureout if I have Youtube channel Matchroom lool paid subscription (Join option), will I have same live streams as if I subscribe over wnttv?

I doubt a join on the youtube channel will get you anything useful. Where you can watch depends on what country you are in (or what country your device appears to be watching from). If you are in the US, it is wnttv.com. Table 4 has been available on one of the matchroom youtube channels, who knows if that will last.

Tall people problems...

I suspect that the WNTTV streams have a relatively low priority because commercial broadcast contracts are much more lucrative.
Otherwise known as "the entire North American market". Matchroom has made it clear that the US market/audience is not a priority for them, at all.

With only one or two US players who ever actually threaten to make it to the final 16 of any of these events, why should the US be their priority?

They are dealing with a new production company (I'm pretty sure). Matchroom does not have the staff to do their own productions. I believe even the director -- who chooses the cameras during play -- is a temp. The stream company has been with them for a while, but this is probably a production interface that's new to them. They have fixed things like no names or scores on the silent streams, so there is someone actually doing useful things. There's more to be fixed, and with luck most of it will be done by the knock out phase (last 64).

I suspect that the WNTTV streams have a relatively low priority because commercial broadcast contracts are much more lucrative. Also, I imagine that Matchroom has very little, if any, monitoring of how the WNTTV streams appear in the respective customer countries. When I say, "relatively low priority," I mean in relation to all the other things that have to be fixed, repaired, patched up, and worked around in a production this size. They have to deal with 128 pool players, after all.
Reasonable points, Bob, but you are too kind. You can’t charge $100 a year for a product and give customers what we have (haven’t?) been seeing.

At least day 3 seems to be OK.

Melling is always a pleasure to watch as a pool player. One of the most intelligent and creative over there. And Kaci is a former major winner, lat year's runnner-up. So the streamer's choice is pretty much natural and approved ;)

Someone explain this to me. Just watched Jason call an extension on table two.
Before that I watched Kaci stare at a ball for 3 minutes before rolling out.
