Dating a Huebler cue by its logo // Opinion of a Huebler now at auction for $150?

UPDATE --- When were cues with abbreviated logo Cue by Huebler made?

Here is a Huebler logo NOT dated above.

No Huebler logo above has only the words “Cue By HUEBLER”. Huebler had a similar logo but with more words: “CUE BY HUEBLER MADE IN U.S.A.” See photos below.

My guess is that cues with logo “Cue By HUEBLER” were made before cues with logo “CUE BY HUEBLER MADE IN U.S.A.”. The Made in U.S.A. was added as a marketing feature and near the start of more-common advertising identifying items manufactured in the U.S.A. It makes sense, too, because Cue by Huebler logo follows the no-U.S.A., really simple Huebler logo. It was only with the cues with logo CUE BY HUEBLER MADE IN U.S.A. that Huebler stated bragging in its logo where the cue was made.

This makes more sense if all Huebler cues were made in the U.S.A. and it was only an advertising push that resulted in the logo changed to include Made in U.S.A.

If all Huebler cues were not produced in the U.S.A. its possible that the cues with "Cue by Huebler" and "CUE BY HUEBLER MADE IN U.S.A." were made at the same time and those that were made in U.S.A. were only those with that logo.

My guess:
Before July 1986: vertical HUEBLER
Guessing soon after July 1986 Cue by Huebler
Guessing some time after July 1986 and before June 1993: CUE BY HUEBLER MADE IN U.S.A.
After June 1993: HUEBLER MADE IN U.S.A.

So this question has been answered in the Hubler Collectors Facebook group where there are a couple of former employees that are members of the group.

The "Cue by Huebler" without the USA was first but only for a year or two before the Made in the USA was added.

NO Huebler cue was EVER made outside of Missouri much less the United States.

For those who cannot access the members-only discussions at the Facebook Huebler Cue Fan Page, the dating of the logos appear to be something like this.

Before July 1986: a vertical HUEBLER
About July 1986 to about 1988: Cue by Huebler
About 1988 to June 1993: CUE BY HUEBLER MADE IN U.S.A.
After June 1993: HUEBLER MADE IN U.S.A.

Don't forget this one before the "vertical" logo....

Are you saying the logo before the vertical huebler was a straddling-vertical H I 1 ???
When did they quit making those straddling-vertical HI1 Hueblers?
Seems I heard there may have been some Hueblers made before the vertical-Huebler logo that had no logo? Correct?

About 1972 to 1976 a vertical with some overlapping: HI1
About 1976 (???) to July 1986 a verticalL HUEBLER
About July 1986 to about 1988: Cue by Huebler
About 1988 to June 1993: CUE BY HUEBLER MADE IN U.S.A.
After June 1993: HUEBLER MADE IN U.S.A.

According to the WorthPoint website, the
H I 1 Huebler cues were made between about 1973 to 1976 and the abbreviation was used for Huebler Industries 1:
Brand: HUEBLER Length: 57" Cue Type: Two-PieceShaft Size: 13 mm Weight: 20 ozGreat condition Small round bumper brass pin and nylon insert this is one of Paul Hueblers first cues this cue is solid and straight all original. This is one of the first cues made in the early 70's somewhere between 1973 to 1976 era. HI1 stands for Huebler Industries 1 this is a excellent collectors piece or a remarkable playing cue. Huebler fans add this one to your collection.

The HI1 was presumed to be built between 1972 and 1976 as discussed here at https://forums.azbilliards.com/threads/cue-id-huebler.214816/
