Best All-Around Production Cue for ~$1000 (Value, Playability, Durability, Support)?

I have had one since they first came out and I have three shafts for it, including the original white ones. I have two Becue cases, the extension, and the weight system.

They play very good and solid.

I think a carbon butt paired with a carbon shaft feels better and plays better than a carbon shaft on a wood butt.
I was just getting back into pool and saw your reviews of Becue, it's one of the reasons I bought one, bought the new Prime II shaft and couldn't be happier with how it plays, put a Bulletproof Recoil hard tip, holds chalk like no tip I have ever used, I appreciate your reviews, Becue is not as well known as they should be in my opinion, but they don't pay Pro's to play with their cues.

Predator Roadline with a Revo or a Cuetec Cynergy. I'd lean towards the Cuetec if you're going to break with it too, the Gen 1 SVB is the best breaking playing cue I've ever used.

I'd consider a custom fancy sneaky before buying a production cue.

Setting aside fancy custom builds and expensive limited production cues, what’s the best production cue overall if you want the whole package: great value, solid playability, consistent quality, long-term durability, a design that doesn’t look too crazy, easy maintenance, good manufacturer support, and it has factory-made accessories like extensions?

Looking to spend around $1000, shaft included. Would love to hear from people who’ve owned or played with cues in this range for a while, not just what hits nice out of the box, but what holds up over years of use. You can use below template if you would like, or just shoot your comment.

If you are local to Columbia I have a 90's era Schon - I think it's a SL-5 - I'd sell. Has a lot of ivory in it so I can't mail it. I doubt you will find a better playing or looking production cue.

Cheapest Mezz is around $600 with a standard wooden shaft. If looking for LD or CF + add extension and you are past the $1000 mark.
I've hit a Mezz with Ignite shaft next to my JFlower, I don't think that the Mezz feels better, both have a nice solid hit.
The Mezz cues at $600 (EC-9) series come with a LD shaft. The Sigma shaft. Carbin fiber is more. To my knowledge, Mezz does not sell a standard wooden shaft.

Do you already have a Break and Jump cue? Because its not going to stop with just a playing cue. Trying to stick to one brand and have all the same joints? You will need 3 different cues for $1000 in order to have a happy family. Want everything to be Carbon? Than go with Raven cues, otherwise buy Joss.

When you go to the doctor, do you say, "Doc, I need a prescription. What's going around?" No, you should say what game you play. Nine ball, snooker, billiards, 14.1, etc. That is your real need. Everybody is prescribing what they have or what they want. Be more specific in describing your needs so YOU will be satisfied.

There is only one thing you control in every billiard game, that is your ability to stroke the cue ball in a straight line, as Dr Dave has shown with high speed cameras, the tip of your cue only contacts the cue ball for hundreds of a second, so no matter what game you play you need a cue that helps YOU stroke the cue ball in a straight line, after that you will have to account for the effects of English, swerve, ect. , so what you really need is a cue that helps you achieve those goals, if you don't have a 30mph break like SVB then playing with a cue like his is probably not going to help you, in the past I always used an 18.5 Oz cue because I was told that was the "optimal" weight for a cue, turns out that was not the optimal weight for a cue for me, after trying many different weights and cues I found MY optimal weight is 22.5 ozs, there are so many factors in finding your optimal cue, you may have a certified PBIA instructor help you, that has been my experience hope it helps you, good luck on your journey.

I have this Tiger sneaky under 10 years paid $500 CD funds and $100 for leather wrap no tax

Mezz. Hands down the best prod. cues out there. Nothing wrong, AT ALL, with Joss/Schon/Pechauer/etc i just think Mezz's QC is the best in the business. I don't like their Mezz-only pins bit other than that i'm all in.
Agree with you totally here. JFlowers for value (if you can get past the logos and designs, great product)

no its not, both Mezz Japan and Mezz USA list it.

All EC-9 models have been sold out since Mezz put them on sale a year (2 years?) ago. And, all their other offerings have been listed as sold out for awhile.
