After seeing a couple of Sawdust customs where I play, I was impressed with the quality of work in them, how they felt and how much you get for the money. Later that evening I visited their Facebook page to look at more examples and was again impressed. I reached out to them only to find out they weren't taking custom orders at this time. They did, however, have some already completed cues and sent me a few photos. I chose this one and received it about a week later.
So far, I'm pretty impressed with the beauty of this cue and it feels similar in weight (190z) & balance to my JFlowers cue, which is a nice playing cue. I expect this will be similar or maybe even better and I will test it out later today. Since it's a radial joint, I have several CF shafts that will fit it in addition to what it came with, including my JFlowers shaft, plus I will receive next week a custom dark roasted maple shaft that I ordered. I ordered that for my Jacoby, but I'm betting it will both look and play well on the Sawdust.
