I have a fancy Paul Mottey cue that has a couple of small dings in the butt.

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with Proficient Billiards cue repair, and whether they would recommend them?

I have heard nothing but rave reviews about Proficient Billiards since joining this Forum quite awhile ago.
The best part is I have never read or heard about a single complaint over the quality of their work. Ned
Morris also does cue repairs and restorations for Cornerstone Cues so he’s another qualified candidate.

A friend had an old Meucci done by then awhile back. She asked me who to send it to and I said them. Cue was done in a couple weeks and looked fantastic but she got all over me because it was way more than stated on web site and she thought they should have put a new tip on right away.
I said did you ask for a new tip and she said no she thought they just would. I then asked, how they could charge so much more than quoted. She said she didn't get a quote, just looked them up online and sent it to them. When she called them after, they told her prices stated online had went up. Their work was really nice though, just call first for a quote before sending.
