Tournaments designed to accommodate FargoRates in the ‘500’ range, and sometimes lower, appear to be ‘ruling the roost’ these days. Arguably just a little more than split-bracket events, which make an attempt to please everybody and give lower-rated competitors a shot at taking on a stronger opponent after they’ve spent most of their day with like-rated fellow competitors.
